Maya Chamberlain

A project that emerged from Tungsten Color Film’s capability to undergo extensive exposure times without reciprocity fail. This series stretches the capabilities of film through expirimentation with 8 ISO tungsten film, low light settings,, and color casts . A response to Walker Evans’ famous quote “Color Photography is Vulgar.” These are my attempts at pushing this vulgarity in praise of the medium.
